Life before onpoint 365
I’m originally from Belfast in Northern Ireland and studied Psychology at University before getting into private sector recruitment in 2018. After moving to Australia in 2020 to explore the country and get away from the Irish rain, I worked in a whole host of jobs around Australia like farming, hospitality, and disability support work. In these roles I had the opportunity to meet some amazing people, gained some new experiences and travel to some places where I never thought I’d find myself!
In 2022 I got back into recruitment working mostly on high volume graduate programs and public sector positions. Since then, I’ve gained a strong understanding of supporting government recruitment processes and I’m lucky enough to have worked with some excellent panels and gained insight into a huge range of APS roles across multiple departments and locations.
Life at onpoint 365
I joined onpoint 365 in December 2023 working closely with the scribing team to support our APS clients. I loved this role because it gave me an opportunity to work closely with people from a huge variety of employment backgrounds and learn about how they work day to day. Now, I work more widely across the business by ensuring we maintain strong relationships with our clients, ensure they have the services they need, and make them aware of all of the excellent services we provide.
Interesting fact bout you
I was born on a little island called Guernsey in the English Channel and lived there until I was 10. You can drive around the entire coast of the Island in 1 hour!
Why I love working at onpoint 365
It’s got to be the supportive and fun team culture. I’ve only just started working more closely with the wider team and work remotely from WA but I can already tell that’s there’s a big effort to make sure everyone feels supported, knowledge is shared, and every day is full of fun (as well as work…).
As someone who moved to Australia as an adult, I also love working for an Indigenous owned company that provides the opportunity to learn so much more about the culture.
